Printing Terms and Conditions


Every effort will be made to obtain the best possible colour reproduction on customer’s work but because of the nature of our printing processes, Printwin Ltd shall not be required to guarantee an exact match in colour or texture between the customer’s photograph, original, transparency or digitally supplied image & the printed article.

Note that there is a distinct difference in print quality between digital printing and litho printing. 
Printwin Ltd cannot guarantee a like for like print in the event that the customer purchases print from both these different printing methods. Reprints may also differ in colour & texture in litho & digital printing. All our products are subject to availability. In the event that Printwin Ltd are unable to supply the product, PrintwinLtd shall notify the customer as soon as possible & shall reimburse payment in full if required.


Print ready files should be submitted for printing. Printwin Ltd recommends that designs are checked against the following before the customer uploads or sends any file. These requirements will ensure print quality is at its best. Any non print ready files may incur an additional charge.
  • 5mm bleed
  • Crop Marks
  • Minimum 300dpi
  • Fonts outlined
  • File formats should be in PDF, Jpeg, Tiff or EPS
Ideally text should be 5mm away from inside of the page if being printed digitally & 3mm away if being litho printed.
Printwin reserves the right to display company logo or trade mark on all stuff we print for you. If you have any issue please ask us to remove it before authorising it for printing. Printwin dosen't accept the resposibility of anykind if any such change is being noticed after customer's approval.

Customers Responsibility

Printwin is not responsible for ensuring customers design & artwork is correct for printing. This responsibility is with the customer & the person paying for the services. The customer should check & recheck any text, numbers & layouts to ensure the artwork is okay before confirming to proceed to print. Printwin will not incur liability on errors that may appear on print as a result of the design being incorrect. The customer is liable to pay the full amount as quoted in these circumstances. It is the customer's responsibility to gain approval to reproduce pictures, artwork, photos and logo's. Printwin is not liable to any claim & any dispute between the customer & prosecutor as a result of this. Customer is also responsible for any copyright issues in relation to any artwork being processed by Printwin


Preliminary Work:  All work carried out, whether experimentally or otherwise, at customer’s request shall be chargeable.
Discounted Printing charges are only offered in conjunction with large printing orders or when multimple services are ordered together by the client. Any changes in collective order will eventually effect the individual price of each product or service including printing cost initially agreed, In that case 
Printwin Ltd’s reserve the right to charge standard printing charges without and discount.
All express designing services incur premium cost.

Copy/Text Matter

Where any additional work of whatever nature is necessary as a result of copy supplied by a customer not being clear and/or legible, the Printwin Ltd shall be entitled to make additional charges on a time and materials basis to cover such additional work. 
Any amendments (Including, creative or non-creative changes, writing, graphics, pictures) in previously designed artwork will be treated as a new designing assignment and will be charged as standard designing cost unless agreed in advance for different rates.
For each designing assignment, created / altered by 
Printwin Ltd, one time amendment in the design is allowed before final approval.
Major changes, will be charged on £25/hr.
Any designs/artwork provided by the customer will be disposed off, 7 days post collection or delivery.
Any design/artwork transfer to another printer/designer will carry a surcharge in addition to the original design cost.


Payments should be made in full at time of order. Printwin Ltd accept all major credit card payments & all payments are secure. Cash payments are accepted when ordering at the Store. Cheque payments are accepted by post. Please allow 4 to 5 days for cheques to clear before designing starts. Confirmation of payment will be made in the form of an invoice, which will be emailed, to the customer or as a receipt if payment is made in the store. Any design or concepts produced by Printwin Ltd will remain our property until full payment for them is received.Estimates
Estimates are based on 
Printwin Ltd. current costs of Designing and quotes are applicable for 30 days. Printwin Ltd reserve the right to change prices thereafter if production has not commenced. Charges will be applied with prior notification & agreement to work which is not supplied print ready.

Design Confirmation

Confirmation of the Design order is subject to sight of artwork & full payment being received. This means Printwin Ltd will check the customers’ artwork to ensure the quote is in line with the print ready artwork. An email confirmation (status confirmed) will be emailed to confirm receipt of artwork & payment. This will be accompanied with an invoice. It is at this stage that Printwin Ltd have accepted the order & is ready to proceed to print. In other case, when the art work is being sent for print after approval from the client, it would be deemed to be confirmed. A surcharge of 50% of the total amount payable for printing is applicable where printing order is revoked soon after its confirmation.


Printwin will deliver to UK mainland addresses using Royalmail, DPD or other reliable delivery companies for next day delivery. Goods despatched on Friday will be scheduled for delivery on Monday. Delivery can take place anytime between 9am & 5.30pm Monday to Friday & will cost between £6 & £10 or more, depending on the size of order & weight.

Dispatch will take place between 1pm & 3pm Monday to Friday. Any urgent orders received after this time maybe dispatched via Special Delivery with an extra charge.
We will confirm a dispatch date at the time of placing the order & full payment being received.
The customer should be available on the day of delivery. On some occasions when no one is available to accept the goods:
  • Delivery may be left with a neighbour – the delivering company will leave a note to confirm this.
  • Delivery may be taken back to the depot or local sorting office for the recipient to collect - the delivering company will leave a note to confirm this.
  •  Any re-delivery will be charged at the original delivery charge rate.
Printwin will endeavour to meet deadlines however completion & delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. Note that Printwin will not be liable or responsible for any delay in delivery caused by events outside our reasonable control. It is recommended that the customer leaves plenty of time for delivery to avoid disappointment. Events outside our control include; strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action. Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war. Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster. Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport. Impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks. The acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government. In these events, the contract between Printwin abd the client/recipient of goods will be deemed suspended.Cancellation
The customer can cancel the order subject to the artwork not being processed to print production.
Cancellation can also take place whilst in print production if being printed digitally. In this case, 
PrintwinLtd will refund the difference that has not been printed at VPL's discretion.


Print & delivery is usually VAT-able. On most occasions flyers, leaflets, booklets & magazines are zero VAT rated. For further information, please visit www.hmrc.gov.uk

Privacy Policy

PrintwinLtd will not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Return Policy

Due to the nature of the printing business,Vegaprint are unable to offer returns & refunds of unwanted print. Please see below for damaged & faulty goods.

Faulty Print
For damaged or faulty print 
Printwin will offer a reprint or a full refund as long as notification has been made within 24 hours of receiving print by email. Damaged or faulty print notifications must be accompanied with photographic evidence & a sample in the post which must be received within 5 working days. Please note any refunds associated to damaged or faulty print will be made in the form of the original payment within 14 days of confirming the refund.

Quantity variation
We shall be deemed to have fulfilled our contract by delivery of a quantity within 5% plus or minus of the quantity of printed goods ordered and you will be charged at the contract rate for the quantity delivered.

Paper Quality
We cannot give guarantee of the paper quality of what has been printed in the past or samples which have been sent to you as we source from various paper mills and merchants who stock a large number of paper palates. Supplier to supplier’s paper may vary from paper’s smooth, rough, colour, grain etc.
Paper Grams (GSM)
We cannot give 100% guarantee of the paper grams (GSM) as we buy from paper merchants with certificate of paper grams. ( + – ) 5% variation of paper grams (GSM) can happen due to large volumes of paper purchased from different merchants.
